Shane Kanady joins the Seawolf Hockey Alliance Board of Directors to support Seawolf Hockey and help it thrive for decades to come.
Shane is the Associate General Counsel of Koniag, Inc., an Alaska Native Corporation. Before joining Koniag, he practiced corporate law at the Anchorage office of Dorsey & Whitney, specializing in mergers and acquisitions, bankruptcy, and other corporate matters. He also served as a law clerk for both the Alaska Supreme Court and the Alaska Superior Court.
Born and raised in Anchorage, Shane earned a finance degree from the University of Washington before obtaining his law degree from the University of San Diego.
A lifelong hockey enthusiast, Shane developed his passion for the sport as a youth player in Anchorage before competing at the club level at UW. He has since dedicated his time to coaching various programs and serving on the board of the Anchorage Hockey Association.
